Fee for the initial clinic visit, with Specialist assessment,

psychometric testing, brain scan imaging, diagnosis and initiation of treatment (where appropriate) = £850.00

Fee for the follow up clinic visit for review = £100.00

The clinic is run by specialists recognised by the private health insurance industry. If you have a private health insurance policy some or all of the costs may be covered – check your policy and/or with your insurer.

Drug Treatment Costs –
Patients who are considered candidates for drug treatment for Alzheimer’s disease will receive a private prescription for medication at the end of their initial clinic visit. The prescription will cover the period until the follow up appointment, when further prescriptions will be provided if treatment is to be continued. Where patients proceed to long term drug treatment the ongoing prescribing may pass over to the NHS, depending on the service arrangements in the area where patients live.

The cost for a private prescription of cholinesterase inhibitor medication is around £100 per month.
