How to get an appointment at the clinic

We require patients to be referred to the Caledonian Memory Clinic by their General Practitioner.

We ask that the referral letter from the GP includes the results of routine screening blood tests which should be performed to exclude any underlying health problems that may be causing or contributing to memory difficulties. It is helpful for these tests to be done before undertaking further assessment and investigation at the clinic.

Once we receive and review the referral information from the GP we can send out an appointment to attend the Caledonian Memory Clinic, providing the time and date, and the location of the clinic (along with a map and directions).
